Stories of Faith: From Catastrophe into the Unknown
David and Bonnie Walker will be joining us at 2:30pm Sunday 8 March to tell their own story of the catastrophic <span class="NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW24396422 BCX8" style="-webkit-user-drag: none; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: transparent; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; user-select: text; background-position: 0px 100%; background-repeat: repeat-x; background-image: url(" data:image="" svg+xml;base64,phn2zyb4bwxucz0iahr0cdovl3d3dy53my5vcmcvmjawmc9zdmciihdpzhropsi1iibozwlnahq9ijqipjxnigzpbgw9im5vbmuiigzpbgwtcnvszt0izxzlbm9kzci+phbhdgggc3ryb2tlpsijruiwmdawiibkpsjnmcazyzeumjugmcaxlji1ltigmi41ltjtmy43nsazidugmyivpjxwyxroigq9ik0widbonxy0sdb6ii8+pc9npjwvc3znpg="=");" border-bottom:="" 1px="" solid="" transparent;"="">Dunally (TAS) bushfire of 2013. This crisis became a pivotal time in which their daily lives were upended, their trust in Christ was crucial and through which the Lord led them to relocate to the hills of Perth.
A photo was beamed around the world that day: the Walker children who were in the care of their grandparents Tim and Tammy Holmes, all trying to take shelter from the fire under a jetty, the photo taken by Tim and sent to reassure Bonnie of their safety while she was out and David was away unaware of the fire. This informal meeting is open to all interested in their compelling story and in God’s personal call to a life of faith. Do join us for afternoon tea and cuppas while we chat.
